Racing Sails, Designed to win, tested by the people who make them

A racing sail has one job: make the boat faster.
And it needs to work in the conditions you actually race in.
We design racing sails the way we’d want our own, accurate shapes that hold under load, clean exits, and trim ranges that work from light airs to a full breeze. We know the difference matters because we line up on the same start lines. Our own boats race on Dart sails, and in 2025 one finished 15th overall and 2nd UK boat at the J/24 World Championship, the highest-placed boat powered by an independent sailmaker.
We’ll talk you through it in plain English: durability against outright performance, and where your money’s best spent for the racing you do. In practice that means choosing the right materials for the job rather than sending everyone down the same generic membrane path. We ask a lot of questions and work with you closely to make sure the product meets your expectations, and the design is tailored to your boat, sailing environment and sailing style.
