Laura is the Office Manager and Graphic Designer at Dart Sails & Covers, combining her creative skills and extensive sailing industry experience with the organisation needed to keep the business running smoothly.

A qualified graphic designer since 2009, Laura holds an MA in Graphic Design and brings a wealth of creative experience to the Dart Sails & Covers team. Her work has been recognised with a Creative Conscience award for a university project, and she was also nominated for an internal award during her time working at the Met Office.

Laura has more than 20 years of experience working with sail lofts, giving her an in-depth understanding of the sailing and marine industry. Her role at Dart Sails & Covers allows her to combine this industry knowledge with her graphic design skills, supporting the company's visual identity as well as its day-to-day operations.

An experienced sailor herself, Laura has sailed across the Atlantic and cruised in the Bahamas, the Azores and northern Spain. She has also raced extensively around Torbay, both in dinghies and aboard her own Impala, as well as enjoying cruising along the South Devon coast, visiting the Channel Islands and exploring the coast of northern France.

Laura's first-hand experience of sailing and life on the water gives her a valuable understanding of the customers, boats and projects that Dart Sails & Covers works with every day.

Away from work, Laura enjoys singing, amateur dramatics and making the most of the outdoors whenever she can.
