Helen has been an important part of Dart Sails & Covers since helping to relaunch the business alongside Simon and Jane Unwin in 2006. With more than 25 years of sailmaking experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge, exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to every sail she works on.

A highly skilled machinist and sailmaker, Helen has worked on an impressive range of sails and boats, from dinghies through to Brixham trawlers. Her technical knowledge, practical approach and eye for detail make her an invaluable member of the Dart Sails & Covers team.

Helen is also a talented sailor herself and has owned and raced a number of boats, including an Impala. Her experience on the water gives her a valuable understanding of how sails need to perform in real-world conditions, complementing her technical skills in the loft.

Away from work, Helen enjoys making the most of the outdoors. She can often be found cycling, walking, surfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding or camping in Cornwall.
