Summer is our quieter season, because most of you are out using your boats rather than having your items in with us for annual maintenance. It means that when you are most likely to need a fast repair, we are most likely to have the capacity to do it. Same day or next day is often possible in season.

If you are mid cruise with a schedule to keep, tell us when you need to leave and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

What we repair

• Torn panels, blown seams and failed stitching
• Chafe damage at slides, hanks, spreaders and stanchions
• Batten pockets and batten retention
• Luff tapes, leech lines and hardware
• UV strip replacement and repair
• Cover zips, fastenings, fittings and windows
• Laminated sails, including delamination assessment

We repair everything we make, and plenty we didn’t. Bring us another loft’s sail and we will treat it the same way.

Getting it to us

Drop it to Dart Sails and Covers, Castor Farm Estate, Metherell Avenue, Brixham, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or call 01803 839196 and we will tell you the fastest route. For boats at Darthaven, Plymouth and Torbay marinas we can often collect.

If you are passing through Dartmouth, Brixham or Torquay and something has let go, call before you plan the rest of your day. We would rather tell you straight away that we can or cannot do it than have you wait.
