I wanted just to let you know that we sold FM at the end of the summer, so there won’t be any sails for you to look after this year. We’ve been cruising together for over 50 years and it was the right moment to swallow the anchor – lots of good memories and only the odd regret! I wanted to thank you (and Simon before you) for looking after our sails so well for us over the last ten years or so. The new mains’l was a definite help in making the sale. I’m afraid FM’s going to be based on the Hamble, so I can’t pass the new owners on to you.
